Eiffage is a multinational company specialized in electric infrastructure, installations, maintenance, renewable energies, electromedicine, construction and civil works, with more than 40 national and international subsidiaries and more than 3,300 employees.
Eiffage is the third largest company in France and the fifth largest company in Europe, it has nine subsidiaries, four distributed around the World and five located in Spain, where it has its headquarters in the city of Albacete. Due to Eiffage’s great growth, the company found it necessary to renew its offices. Regarding this issue, they got in contact with Newline Interactive aiming to integrate a new kind of solution that would allow a better communication among employees from different subsidiaries and offices in a more agile, simple, dynamic and multifunctional way.
Newline Interactive offered Eiffage a solution that adapts to all their needs. Different touch screens were integrated in their daily work routine to facilitate “anywhere, anytime” connection among people in the company.
In total, five X Series, four VN Series and one UB series touchscreens were placed in different spaces as meeting rooms, conference rooms, managers’ offices and warehouses. All devices have integrated an OPS PC with Windows system, this way collaboration can be the most Dynamic and intuitive, and anyone can be able to install any kind of applications without the need of training or previous knowledge.
This solution provided by Newline has allowed all employees who have their work location in the Spanish headquarters of Eiffage, to relate to all the other subsidiaries and offices in Spain. With Newline devices people can collaborate on-site or remotely using their favourite collaboration software and video conferencing.
After the successful integration of the touch screens in the different Spanish subsidiaries of Eiffage Group, the company is planning to implement new solution in other Spanish offices, aligning, this way, to the same collaborative solution.
